Well the Eagle River Ice Castle is finished. You can see a video of it here:

This is probably one of the greatest projects that Eagle River does each and every winter. The fire department has to wait until the ice is the right thickness on Silver Lake before they can get the 2500 ice blocks used for making the castle. They finished the castle in time for Friday Night Thunder at the Eagle River Championship snowmobile derby. Hopefully lots of people stop to visit the Ice Castle and then visit the Arrow Gift Shop for some
Minnetonka Moccasins and
Peace Moccasins. What would be really neat is if some of the snowmobile ladies stopped in to look at our
Mariana Jewelry
